Dr Leong will be discussing on Cloud security from a user perspective. He will share with the audience a short laundry list of why there is a problem with security, and his positioning as a user on security in the cloud.

Taking cover when it rains: A practical approach to Cloud Security

So you are thinking about putting your users, documents and data into the cloud. What can you do today to make sure that it is safe? The speaker will share about Oracle’s Service-Oriented Security (SOS) message and how it is relevant with to helping you adopt a practical and standards based approach to Cloud Security. The speaker will also discuss on:

·         How the conversation changes as data moves outside of your control (into the cloud) to include requirements for consent, revocation, trust and privacy.

·         Map requirements to capabilities such as entitlements, data-ownership and federation to help define security as a business platform

·         Use Identity Management to help manage security for Social Apps in the cloud

·         Demonstration on live security integrations with iPhone, Facebook, Yahoo and Gmail
